University either in Shah’s regime, or during the life of the
Islamic regime, has always been the bulwark of freedom for the freedom-loving
people of Iran, and its banner for freedom
and equality against despotism has been kept towering. The Islamic regime, with
the most brutal attacks on the universities and dormitories, beatings and
killings of the students and imprisoning
and expelling thousands of them, also with organising many kinds of disciplinary and intelligence forces, enforcement of Islamic discriminations and sexual apartheid, and even with renouncing the humanitarian science as a subject of study, and expulsion of the teachers and university professors who are to the slightest bits in disagreements with the government, has tried to silence this unconquerable bulwark of freedom and equality. Despite all these efforts against it, in the beginning of each academic year, and the opening of the universities, panic and fear can clearly be seen on the faces of the Islamic regime’s leaders. In the current deteriorated economic situation, and the clutter of the Islamic regime, also the growing discontent of the millions of people, it is time for the university to unite and organise its force, and prepare for a decisive battle against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In response to this need, and to appoint a general liberation movement in the universities, modern, humanitarian, for equality, and in order to counter the Islamic regime and all its supporters, big and small, and all the movements that behave as obstacles on the way of the victory of the Iranian people, this document is presented.
Communist young organization is committed to a struggle for the achievement of the following demands, and invites all the students, students’ organizations and associations, the youth, and all the revolutionary organisations and parties, inside and outside of Iran, to place this platform in their work order.

Students’ General Alliance Platform
The most important demands of the
students in the current situations are:
1. Immediate and unconditional release of all the students and
political prisoners.
2. Unconditional political freedom, such as freedom of speech,
protest, organisation, student strikes
and other students’ activities such as
cultural and scientific clubs, etc.
3. Abolition of enforced veil, and to have free choice of
dress.
4. Abolition of discriminatory laws against women, and
abolishing sexual apartheid in any forms and in any field.
5. Immediate dissolution of all military, paramilitary and
security forces, such as disciplinary committees, Protection Committees,
leadership representatives, and similar in universities. Strict ban on the
police and military forces, from entering to the universities.
6. Separation of religion from university and education.
7. Nomination of the rulers and the perpetrators of the
massacres and crimes against people and students, their trial in the open
courts and under the international supervision.
8. Cancellation of any ideological religious, belief and
political examination and selections, as a precondition to enter the
universities. Immediate cancellation of all the expulsion orders, and the
immediate return of all expelled students, teachers and university professors
to work.
9. The right to choose of all managers and the university
officials by the students.
10. Providing the highest standards of education, and student
amenities,
such as the abolition of fees, providing suitable accommodations, help with expenses, and provision of adequate educational space for all the university applicants.
