Paper-making workers of Karun will assemble in front of the company tomorrow (Sunday)

According to the news that the Party has received, the paper-making workers of Karoon, Shooshtar will assemble in front of the company at tomorrow, Sunday 14th of October. This protest gathering has many demands including coming back to work of 215 fired workers (out of 230 workers of this factory) and also paying the six months unpaid wages from the March for 15 working workers who are on a return permit and also for 215 fired workers and also extending the validity of Social Security insurances. The decision to assemble in front of the company is a consequence of a deadline of 28th of September that was given to the province authorities to deal with workers’ demands. But until know workers have received nothing but empty promises and suppress.
The same news also says that workers will decide about the continuation of the struggles in tomorrow gathering.
The Party strongly backs the rightful struggles of paper-making workers of Karoon and calls on workers and freedom-loving people of Shooshtar and surrounding cities to solidarity with them. The Party specially calls on the region workers such as Kesht o Sanat Workers of Karoon, Shooshtar and marginal industries to support the paper-making workers.
